Debt collector letters for (presumably) previous residents
We moved house a little over year ago. Since then we have had a constant stream of post for a variety of different names connected to the previous owners. Any difference if I close a credit card or if the bank does?
I had a letter off Sainsbury to say they are closing my CC because I've not used it lately. I was planning on closing it soon - I had it for a BT, long paid off - but is there any difference in effect on my credit history if I write and ask them to close it, of if I just let them carry on and close it for ,me? It'd save me…
