Welcome finance

I took out a secured loan with welcome finance late 2007.
In 2008 I was declared bankrupt and even though I knew I couldn’t put this loan into my bankruptcy i went to welcome finances office in Southend to show them my paper work and to explain I wasn’t in a position to make my payments.
they took copies of all documents and said they would past them to the relevant department and someone would contact me.
up till now no one has made contact or asked for a payment but I’m now selling the property that they have the second charge on and have been trying to find out if I’m still liable with no payments or contact for 13 years so I can remove the charge and complete the sale
I can’t find out who took over their book.
can anyone advise please

I think a company called "Coast Financial Solutions" now owns all of the Welcome Finance "debt",  might be worth getting in contact with them, there's a few posts about similar issues on the forum :
