Goldfish points
Hi, I've just "inherited" my Dad's goldfish card points as he died recently and they've said that the next of kin can use the points. I've looked on their website and it seems you can use them to get vouchers for lots of shops but I've no idea how much they're worth or what the best deals are. I will probably give the…

I recieved my card from Intelligent Finance today and when I rang to activate it was told that my credit limit was only £1700 and my limit on a balance transfer was 90 per cent of that - £1520. Balance Transfers from different cardholder
We have been tarting a £6k debt around for a while now, and we have always applied for cards in my wife's name as she is the biggest earner. Up until now the card companies have always given her a limit in excess of our debt, so no problems. However, she just got accepted for a GE card but has only got a £3k limit, so we…

Current account transfers from 0% cards
Does anyone know which cards offer a transfer of money from the 0% card to a current account? A few years ago the MBNA card we signed up with allowed for this, it was an awesome feature as it didn't mean the debt had to be with another card. I looked in the main credit card article but could find anything…

Hi all, Slightly dim question I'm afraid! BMI 'free flights' - be wary.
I notice a reference to the BMI 'free flights' credit card today on the home page. Be very wary of this card if you have a family and can only fly during the regular holiday periods. I was taken in by the BMI card. What people need to know is that on the BMI card you are earning 'redemption' miles not 'air miles'. So while…

Sneaky Amex.
I did a BT to this card-4 days before the 6 month deadline for the 4.9% LOB-and they charged me 2% for it. No mention of this on their website they said they do it ' on an individual basis ' I guess they make a decision at some point as to whether or not you are going to stick the transfers in but also spend on it or just…

Minimum Payments on Credit Cards
Last November I took out a Virgin Credit Card which stipulated that I had to repay 2.5% of what I owed per month, however after the first month, the minimum payment was £5. Initially I paid off £100 plus per month, until I started throwing all possible funds to a MBNA credit card to pay it off. However, I am now looking to…
