Help! Credit Limit on Intelligent Finance Balance Transfer?

Hi - great site!

I recieved my card from Intelligent Finance today and when I rang to activate it was told that my credit limit was only £1700 and my limit on a balance transfer was 90 per cent of that - £1520. As I want to transfer £2200 from a Barclaycard Im somewhat disapointed as they said they wont review that for 6 months. Is there anything I can or should do?

I hope i'm not asking something that has been covered elsewhere - I have done a search. First post!

Transfer £1520 and try applying for another card:
