Interest Rates Doubled!
This week I got a letter from Goldfish who've recently been aquired by Morgan Stanley. The letter stated that my interest rate was going to increase from 9.9% per annum to a whopping 21.9%!!! Needless to say, I've since called and closed the account. No way am I going to pay an utterly uncompetitive rate for credit, never…

I tried for a GE Transformation credit card and was refused due to data provided by one of their credit rating companies.I was very annoyed by this as I have no outstanding debts and reasonably financially stable. Refunds and statement dates
Egg Money card direct debit amount (for statement balance) was today reduced by the amount equal to a refund which was made on my account between the statement and the payment due dates. This is relatively unusual - as it effectively carries some of the previous month's purchases into the next following month (and is still…

a good Visa credit card?
Can anyone recommend a Visa credit card? I want one to use exclusively for online casinos & betting sites. It doesn't need a high limit (a few hundred will do), and the interest rate is irrelevant, as I'll be paying it off in full each month. I already have a Mastercard, but have heard that Mastercard is not always…

I will ask each card to be paid off at specific dates throughout each month. I can transfer the extra 5k between them and keep…

Go and check your Marbles account
Go online and check your marbles account... They regularly post 6 month promotional rates on transfers and they are available only for the first month or so. After the opening month - if the offer is not taken up - invariably they roll over and change these to something else. Having just looked at my account (out of…

Cash Interest on Credit Cards
I have a SkyCard credit card, which I use in order to get money off my Sky digital bill. However, I managed to find myself where I needed cash but only had my Skycard with me.
