Before I click submit.
Ok I’m good to go, online form filled out and money ready to pay. Thanks for everyone’s help so far. But I’m slightly worried that I’ve missed off/forgotten a debt? What happens if I come across another letter or phone call between now and my interview? Can I add it then.

Utterly bizarre thing happened today... after using the copy-and-paste email in the sticky and emailing it to Tesco Bank, asking them to update my credit file (to set a defaulted loan to 'settled' after discharge) they've send me a grovelling apology and a £50 cheque in the post - astonishing!!! What do I have to do…

Discharge and payment thingy
Up to what point are the IS likely to want a repayment plan (3 years) from a BR? at his discharge or is it possible after? A mate has had no job offers for 9 months and is due an automatic (1 year from BR) discharge in a month and has had 2nd interview for a job (albeit not very well paid)..

Are payments under a CCJ/existing loan agreement classed as preferential payments?
Hi, I thought I would create a separate thread for this question for the sake of Google searchability for other people doing research into this area. The basis of this query can be found here: forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?p=75971318&posted=1#post75971318 For those that do not want to read the background of…

OR 'closing file'
I went BR in January 2019. As part of a more responsible approach to finances I have joined my work pension scheme (I'm 53 and don't have a pension!). My pension contribution means that I won't have an IPA (originally set at £30pm). The OR has asked me to send proof of pension payments once they start and said "Then we can…

It has come to filing, last resort
Hi, We are seriously thinking of filing for BR today. Due to poor income from self employment in the past and family illness we now have CC and loan debts totalling £40000+ and monthly payments going out are around £900 without any dent being made. All balance transfer options have been exhausted. This has been tried…
