Credit with creditors after insolvency drops off credit file

What are people's experiences of creditors once the 6 year mark has passed. Are they happy to accept you back as a customer, or lifetime ban ?
My insolvency was an IVA, but I suspect the attitudes will be similar across bankruptcy,IVA, DRO etc (although would be interested to hear to contrary)
I can confirm that capital one are happy to take you back (even several years before my IVA dropped off)
I'm interested in creation finance and Barclaycard primarily

I've recently gotten the 'Poor credit' version of the Barclaycard just as the 6 year mark passed since my bankruptcy. When it arrived it also stated that if I keep my account in good order - don't miss payments - don't go over the limit - it''l be upgraded to the platinum card in 12 months. Barclaycard were one of my original creditors in bankruptcy.0
