Order of service words?
Hi, I am starting to put together our 'order of service'. WE are having a civil cermeony and we would like them really quite informal - the final details still have to be confirmed ie, the music and the poems, but I was wondering what to put at the beginning. Do we welcome everyone? Do any of you have examples? Megan

Wedding Insurance
Sorry if this has been asked before! I read on here somewhere (can't find it now!) that it's advisable to arrange insurance before paying any deposits... is that right? We're paying our first deposit on Monday so need to get insurance sorted over the weekend if that is right. Also, after looking at a few quotes I'm a bit…

Can you help me find some shoes?
I am currently signed off work and not able to walk very well. The problem lies in my right foot and I can't wear heels. I don't own a flat pair of shoes (other than work, trainers and walking boots).…

I’m not so sure this is the best place for this type of post and I’m sure there are probably sites dedicated to such questions but I’ve been browsing these forums for a long time and everybody seems to be helpful so I figure; what have I got to lose? I’ve decided I’m going to ask my girlfriend to marry me on Christmas…

Does this sound like it would look silly?
I'm no where near ordering any flowers, but I am looking for inspiration. Our main coulour scheme is pink and ivory, but OH and I want us to have a splash of fuschia pink. OH is having a fuschia pink cravat which I think looks great. Originally, I was going to have pink and ivory roses for my bouquet, but now I'd like to…
