Does this sound like it would look silly?

I'm no where near ordering any flowers, but I am looking for inspiration.

Our main coulour scheme is pink and ivory, but OH and I want us to have a splash of fuschia pink. OH is having a fuschia pink cravat which I think looks great.

Originally, I was going to have pink and ivory roses for my bouquet, but now I'd like to still have the pink and ivory (not sure which flowers) but have 1 or 2 fuschia pink gerberas or something along those lines.

Would that look a bit daft? Does anyone have any ideas which flowers would look good together?

What kind of feel do you want? Modern or classic? What is your gown like and do you have a 'theme'? Two tones of pink can look really amazing - I'm sure someone will come up with a suitable mix for you!

We haven't got an overall theme, just the colour scheme. My gown is going to be a very simple A-line gown with a small bit of detail on the bust area so I feel like I could be a little more exotic with my flowers.

I don't think it sounds silly at all. Are you doing your own flowers or getting someone to do them?

It might take a bit of time, but could you maybe fine flowers online in the colour you like and print and cut them out? Maybe as a flat bouquet?

Could you maybe incorporate the fuschia with your shoes? so it's not in bouquet but if you get to see your shoes guest's would get a 'splash'
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....

It doesn't sound silly to me, as that's what I had for my flowers! :) (roses, peonys, gerbera and pink lily's)

I'll not be doing them myself, I'm not a very creative person! I think I'll be having silk/artificial flowers so that I can keep them after the wedding.

Not sure about the fuschia shoes... have already seen 2 pairs I'd like. One's £450 and the other's £40!! Think I'll be going for the latter lol

I made them myself, only took me about 5 minutes to do! I made one the same, but smaller, for my teenage daughter to carry x

Were they real or artificial? I'd want the same layout as mine for the bridesmaids, but theirs would just be baby pink and ivory.

    Sorry, they're artificial.

You made them? WOW they look amazing. You're very creative. I'm not sure if I attempted this, it would be quite the same.

    They are really pretty.
