Dare I venture into this? downloading a film.
I seem to be on a learning curve of late, and now for something else. When we fly, it seems that everyone on the aircraft is watching a movie from either phone, tablet or laptop. Yes, the word download comes to mind, but I do not have a clue how this is done. Dare anyone venture on explaining this please, in simple terms.

Best quiet cpu fan replacement.
Hi folks, I have a pc eight years old, going fine though the cpu heatsink fan is starting to get noisy especially when it runs faster when I am doing something such as a game. I have taken it off and cleaned it, also taken as much dust as I can out of heatsink. Definitely the cpu fan as when I stop it, the hum goes away.…

Can't paste files from desktop onto SD card
put an old SD card with plenty of music on it into my new phone. Tried to copy and paste and cut and paste more music onto it but I just get a little window saying 'copying' or 'moving' respectively but there is no progress along the bar. I deleted a few files from the SD card to create more space in case that was an issue…

Telephone calls
This seems to happen everyday. I look at the phone to see if there have been any calls and there are usually several in the window. I'm at home most of the time and usually in a room with a phone in but the phone doesn't ring even though it says there has been a call. It does ring when a genuine call comes in. It's several…

Scratches on studio monitor speakers- what to do.

I purchased a pair of JBL LSR305 studio monitors for my home studio, and when I unboxed them and placed them on my desk, noticed there was a few scratches near the tweeter on one monitor. Now, I wouldn't mind if I purchased these as B stock, but I bought them…

I have started to receive calls from a robotic female voice telling me my internet connection has been compromised and to give them my IP address. Have hung up. Excel 2016; Unnecessarily recovered files
Hi I am hoping you can help either with a solution or on how to phrase the question for Google. About half the time when I open Excel 2016 (on Windows 10), it is saying I have recovered files and that I need to check them. One of the files is not one I opened in the previous session. The other file I will have opened but…
