Hi folks,
I have forgotten the name of software that I have used before, basically it is for use with a genuine copy of windows 7, doesn't work in 10.
What it does is, it makes a backup of you activation without having to activate through Microsoft again, should you need to reinstall, checks bios or motherboard I believe, so totally legit.
Anyone remember the name?
Thanks

Googling for windows 7 activation tool produces a load of stuff which appears to me to be somewhat less than 'totally legit'.
One presumes that you have already done this?0 -
yeah I have thanks. it works great and simply backs up your activation, I do have it somewhere on a DVD, though I will have to browse through to find it, knowing the name would make it easier.
Ah I got it on google.
Advanced token manager.
It can only be used for genuine windows anyway.0 -

I couldn't decide whether or not that was a rhetorical comment, so for the sake of giving Google a test, I believe he's a Microsoft .NET Solutions Developer, working for a local (to him) software company.0 -
Oh..ok, thank you.
Just wondered what happened to the Josh Cell project.0 -

I would guess he just abandoned it as he moved on in life. Whether through lack of time, or there being better alternatives that meant updating his projects was not a good use of resources.
The internet archive does show that the site was still up about a year ago, although showed no sign of updates, just like his Facebook, Twitter & any other sites I found.
He was also a regular on MDL forums until early 2014 too, and still visits occasionally. His profile page show he was last online May 17, 2018. (you need an account there to view some pages)
Although my 'guess' as to his current status is unproven, it was this post of his,
together with his comments here, that convinced me that https://www.linkedin.com/in/micheloliveiramct/ is his LinkedIn page. I don't know how common the name Michel Oliveira is, but some of the matching 'skills', along with the university time, which could also explain why he was unable to keep the site going, make it too similar to be coincidental.0 -

Magical Jelly Bean Finder.
Used to use it a lot when I was an IT geek.0
