Would you recommend a android contacts app?

I'm looking for a contacts app for android. Ideally it will have photo I'D and besides being alphabetically will give me the opportunity to have my favourites at the top. Don't want adverts and if it looks good, would be prepared to pay.

I use True Phone Dialler and Contacts by Hamster Beat. It is very customizable and of course compatible with the stock Android phone and contact apps.

Taken off couple of installed contact apps and back to preinstalled android app to see how I go.

Tbh, I can't think offhand (it's only 8am) of any stock android apps that don't work perfectly well.
