Last night I had yet another microsoft masive update that wanted to update all three of my laptops on the same night. Previously unheard of, usually spread over several days.
Does anyone know what could of been so important?
I can not see any difference.
Was this just another meaningless update by microsoft?

https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/4284835/windows-10-update-kb4284835Addresses an issue with the brightness controls on some laptops after updating to the Windows 10 April 2018 Update.Provides protections from an additional subclass of speculative execution side channel vulnerability known as Speculative Store Bypass (CVE-2018-3639).
They seem to be be the main features.0 -

the only thing I noticed was that you can now remove the pointless US keyboard, that someone at MS thought was a good idea to have as an option in the UK, resulting in "ENG" in your system tray
The remove button was disabled before, lots of people moaning about it on the internet0
