Scratches on studio monitor speakers- what to do.

Hello everyone, I hope you are OK and can offer me some advice.
I purchased a pair of JBL LSR305 studio monitors for my home studio, and when I unboxed them and placed them on my desk, noticed there was a few scratches near the tweeter on one monitor.
Now, I wouldn't mind if I purchased these as B stock, but I bought them as new from a well known store online.
I have contacted them via their live chat, and they said they can not help but will pass it to returns.
The thing is, I don't really want to have to return them, as they sound and work great. It's just the scratches. I also am recovering from a serious illness so it will be hard for me to ship it back to them. Really I would like to come to an agreement that one is B stock, and this be reflected in the price.
Where do I stand on this? They were purchased as brand new items, but one has either got past quality control with the scratches, or was a item that had been out of the box before it got to me.
They are small in length, but pretty deep. There is about 5 marks.
Thank you all, Conan.

I believe you can reject the goods for a refund, or request a replacement.
You don't have any rights to get a discount, but you can negotiate with the shop. It's worth coming up with what you think is a reasonable figure and asking them.0
