Hi guys, I'm considering buying ipad 3. I was hoping it would last for the duration of my course and I predominately need it for reading journal articles, lit searches, storing lecture presentations and accessing email etc. Am I better off buying a cheaper model or going all out for an ipad 3 please?

I need some advice please, when I take the mains lead out of my laptop the screen goes very dark. I can still just about see the screen but it is to dark to read anything and cannot see the cursor but it is not blank. Thanks
