Address book programmes...(simple but possibly odd one:p)

Hi
I've been asked to copy my mother's paper address book into a computer version.
I know Live email etc has an address book, but I need to do this so that it's independent of my machine.
Are there any standalone programmes that can be used to create and modify an address book and easily be copied to other machines?
As I say, I need it to be completely separate to the one in Windows if possible (and preferably as easy to use as possible, as my mum's computer skills are very low).
