take out the working ram and put in the other ram. Hopefully that will not work and then you have duff ram module0

Thanks. Both ram work independently but not together. Have updated bios and now get a Dr debug code 55 instead of 45 but still won't boot with both modules installed"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0

does each RAM stick work by itself in both slots?? Actually, check the notes out on this page:-

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

Will it boot to the BIOS menu? Try 2 sticks of a different brand.
Set as dual channel? Tried different slots?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

yes, each module works in a1 and b1 slots but will not work in a2 or b2 slots"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0 -

it will boot into bios menu with one module in either a1 or a2 slots.
i have tried kingston 2gb with same results. i even tried 4 x 2gb but get same dr debug 55 error
i thought that just by inserting modules into a1 and b1 or a2 and b2 that dual channel mode was activated or does slot b1 and b2 have to be activated as it appears that they are not working"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0 -

I'd get on to asrock support, it sounds like your *2 slots may either be goosed or you've missed a bios or config setting somewhere..........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
