He's dead, Jim???

A very strange and worrying thing just happened - I did a system restore and as it shut down at the finish a blue screen appeared with the words 'he's dead, Jim' right across the middle. I didn't have time to read what the rest of the writing said, but on restart it all appears to be okay.

I typed those exact words in a search and it lists several variations of those words but clicking on any of them it comes up as '400 bad request'

Does anyone know if I have a virus and if so, how to get rid of it please?
Tia

I didn't really have time to see much of it, there was more but just saw the words he's dead, Jim. I've just read through the link and don't understand why Chrome thinks it's clever, almost everyone who posted has been worried by it. But then I'm not techie, just female...

Thanks for the link and putting my mind at rest.

Chrome being quirky. You may see 'Awww snap!' sometimes too. It is when corporations try to bestow character on their applications, sometimes it is cute (or at least a geeky in-joke), other times (most times) it is Clippy.

Chrome has just gone down 100% in my opinion.

I will say thank you for your posts/replies though, because it has put my mind at rest.
