Am running firefox v13. When i click on 'open a new tab' a new page appears showing which websites i have been on before. How can i prevent firefox from showing what pages i have been on before? Min & Max Temperature readings
I want to record min / max temp in a room over 6 months or so. I'd like readings taken everyday but no-one will be there to take the readings, so has to be automatically recorded somehow. Oh, and there's no electricity supply. Probably impossible for the layman to do.... right?

how to dispose of modem
have an ancient pc and want to get rid of it, I can take the monitor and modem to local re-cycle depot for free but how do I remove all the 'stuff' on it before disposal, eg don't want private stuff easily accessable to the re-cycling chaps, no state secrets involved !
