Samsung N220 Netbook only charging to 80%

I use my Netbook always plugged in at home. Just for a bit of internet browsing.

Recently I've noticed that when I hover over the battery icon, it says "79% available. plugged in, not charging". I think the most it has got to in recent days is 80%. It used to charge to 100%.

It is definitely plugged in and the switch is on! I have tried a different power lead, same result. I have mucked about with the power plan settings (changing between 'Balanced' and 'High Performance') and it always says the same thing - max 79 or 80%.

Does this mean the internal battery is on it's way out? I was left without a Netbook once before and do not want to be in that position again.

Thanks in advance if anyone has an idea.
