System Restore stuck on "Confirm Restore Point"

Having problems restoring a restore point after installing Roxio's Back On Track, which has caused so many problems on my PC.
After opening System Restore, I select a date and click next. It takes me to a Confirm Restore Point window, when next is clicked, then does nothing, just hangs. Can anyone help?
Have tried opening again in Safe Mode with Avast anti-virus disabled. Have scanned PC with Malwarebytes and Avast and nothing is being picked up.
Any comments would be great appreciated !
