hi just started using a laptop that has not been used for sometime i keep getting told i am using an outdated internet explorer, i have tried to update it several times but keep getting a message saying that the service pack does not support it any help would be gratefully recieved thanks

Virus/trojan? Help please
Did start this on another thread. Went on Thomas Cook last night, Avast said it had a trojan, did scan 4 found: HTML:Iframe-QH [Trj] Avast then did boot time scan? and 59 threats found, I think i sent them to the chest( am never sure what action to take) When I look at log all that it shows is 23 threats same as above.…

USB charging
I have a 4 year old Dell Studio with 4 USB ports my question is are they all equal or is one of them a “sleep and charge” port i.e. the laptop does not have to be on for it to charge my kindle? I tried the Dell site but they are not much help. Thanks

Help needed with laptop

thinking of replacing sata drive (win 7) with ssd drive. what is the best way to go about it? full install of win 7 etc, disc image existing drive and transfer image or is there a better way?

Slideshow of pictures and video
I'm sure this is probably quite straightforward but I can't think of how, I would like to create a slideshow which consists of a mixture of both pictures and video. The pictures will display for 5 or 10 seconds and the videos will just play - all in sequence. Any tips?
