cc cleaner wont update
I have recently installed avast and now cc cleaner and smart defrag will not update. i press updates and the internet explorer activates but then just sits there with a blank page trying to connect... any ideas please thanks

Ebay avoids my pop up blocker
Does anyone know how Ebay manages to avoid my pop up blocker. Everytime l sign out from my account an annoying pop up emerges, this only happens on Ebay.

IE8 v IE9 Question
I notice that my laptop is asking me to update to IE8 also I see IE9 out. Are any of these good now or are they still got a way to go? we have o/s WinXP and Win7 both on IE7 just said that incase one of the above works better with one than the other.

New phone, old computer - memory card compatibility
I've just bought a new phone which takes a microSD or micro SDHC memory card up to 8MB. My six-year old Dell has slots (previously unused!) labelled: SecureDigital Card (SD) and MultiMediaCard (MMC) and Memory Stick (MS/MS Pro) Will the Dell take a SDHC card or do I need to stick to SD to achieve compatibility? i have looked under cartridgessave.co.uk and depending onthe type of toner cartridge you get it offers different prices on toners. i am still debating wherther to get a new printer or just a new cartridge on this site . i was told at pc world that when you buy a new printer such as lexmark the cartridges come half full!
