Any free tools out there? I tried microsofts mr fixit but even that was missing a .dll so wouldnt work..
Yes, i could google but im very cautious about doing a search as difficult to know which sites are trusted really so came on here looking for some help

You mean fixing the Upper and Lower filter bug that stops the CD/DVD drive from working?
