Messaging a list on Facebook's new messaging page

Hello,
I cannot find out how to send a message to several people at once on Facebook.
I have set up lists previously, but the To box on the new messaging page only lets you type people's names, not a list.
I am doing Swimathon in 2 weeks time and wanted to send out my sponsorship link to everyone.
Can anyone help, please?
