How do you open a csh file ?

I have downloaded a csh file from scrapbookingcop.com and although I have Adobe Photoshop...I don't really know how to use it.
Can someone please explain ( in very simple terms..as I am a blonde ) how to open the file.

It is a custom shapes file. Open using the menu option of Custom Shape Tool when the custom shape option is selected; can be loaded or saved by clicking the right arrow in the Shapes drop-down list and selecting "Load Shapes..." or "Save Shapes..."

    Shapes

    Place the *.csh files into:

    Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop X\Presets\Custom Shapes

where X is the version number for your version of Photoshop.

To load a file, go to the Styles palette, then click the small arrow in the top right corner and choose one of the layer style collections from the menu.

Left click the file to highlight it, at the top, click edit, click copy to folder

When the box opens up, locate the programme file folder for photoshop, this should be by clicking or double clicking hard drive C then programme files folder, then photoshop, then custom shapes, click copy

Then open photoshop to load the shape

I have left clicked and highlighted the file, but when I click on edit the shapes box dissapears and there is no "copy to folder" option.
The only field that is highlighted in edit is
    Add page using current layout
    Colour settings
    Preset manager
    Preferences

Don't use photoshop yet, the file needs to be moved from where you downloaded it to, in to the programme files folder
  • The file is part of a zipped file. So when I unzip and remove the relevant file..how do I move it ?

Say it is in your downloads folder, unzip it there

at the top of that folder will be the edit, copy to folder option after you left click it

Then it should be as post 5

Oh boy, are you in for fun!

Photoshop has probably the steepest learning curve of the common software packages; it is not for the faint hearted. If you're stugging with moving files around in windows explorer, it might not be for you.
