Broadband for Oldies
Hi Apologies if this is covered somewhere else here but I'm toying with the idea of getting my parents (who are in their 70s and rather technophobic) online. I'm only at the preliminary stage at the moment as I'm sure that the stress of training them how to turn a laptop on and off will no doubt kill me before we get to…

PC security
For info: I’m using Windows XP Home edition. When I first loaded Microsoft Security Essentials (SE) it worked fine. Lately however it takes for ever to start when I switch on the PC (over 20 minutes), or doesn’t start at all. The icon in the system tray stays red and if I ‘right click’ it the SE screen informs me…

Good Printer/Scanner/Copier with cheap ink??
Hi, I have an Epson DX5400 at the moment and have found the cheapie knock off ink (like £3 for full pack) works really well in it but the printer is absolutely massive and we spilled something on it so it looks a bit beaten up. Which printer is the most cost effective?
I own a Lexmark X4650 printer... great printer but hideously expensive on the cost of replacement ink cartridges... I've even tried refilling the refillable carts but they never work properly. So can anyone recommend a reasonable price printer (sub £100) that is cheap to run on ink. :)

Magnet on Phone Case
I wonder if anyone could put my mind to rest. I am looking at purchasing a case for my phone, however it has a magnectic closure. I know they wouldn't sell them if they did, but surely wouldn't the magnet effect the phone in some way. Please see photo below. The magnet would be above the screen Many thanks for your thoughts
