Im not too sure if this is the correct thread to post this on, if not perhaps someone could point me in the right direction.
I have a bush 3 tier electric steamer that is missing a part, I have tried online to find contact details for them but the last info i can find was that they were bought over by the Argos group a few years ago. I did try and email but am still awaiting a reply (shocking customer service if you ask me!)
Can anyone help me try and get hold of someone who wold deal with spare parts for bush goods, as I dont want to replace this for the sake of one small spare part.
Thanks

The problem that you have with most brands like Bush is that all of their products are made to absolute minimum cost in China, and they have no interest whatsoever in stocking spare parts.
I reckon you will be very lucky to find anyone with spares, and if you do, the cost will probably not be worthwhile. I tried to get a replacement element for a £30 electric heater recently, and the cost would have been £25 plus p&p!
But I hope to be proven wrong, as I hate throwing away stuff that needs only something minor to fix.0 -
Exactly fwor, not exactly money saving to throw out a perfectly good steamer for the sake of one small plastic mesh part. The sad thing is that it is a very good steamer and to replace like for like would probably cost £40+.
I certainly hope you are proven wrong too!!!

What does this piece of mesh do?
Could you buy a small plastic sieve from a Poundshop and cut it to shape?
Or use some other suitable mesh from a DIY shop, haberdashers etc.0
