Netgear 834G v3..C21n Adsl2+... Speedtouch 585 v7
I have been reading random articles that people have with the Netgear Router in combination with ADSL2+. They basically say that v4 is better in performance, presumably because it has a Broadcom chipset in place of the earlier model's TI-AR7 (MIPS32. My ISP issues Speedtouch 585s which some say has better margins than the…

laptop memory compatibility
Is it OK to use PC2-6400 800MHz ram in a laptop that is designed for PC2-5300 667MHz. I'm assuming that the PC2-6400 will run quite happily at the lower speed. Just that PC2-6400 is quite a bit cheaper than PC2-5300 right now. Thanks

Do I wait for Photoplus X4, or....?
My Photoplus9 does not work with Windows7. I have looked at Photoshop Elements8, but AFAIACS. it has one big drawback, that I have found intractable. The print on the menu bars is minute, not something a senior appreciates. ATM Photoplus's latest is X3, but it is likely that X4 will be out soon. That gives me choices: get…

Why is netbook running so slow?
Hi guys, I have a little Advent netbook which is running really slow and I'm not sure why. Only 13.1gb of the 146gb capacity is being used so there is ample free space.
