one dish for sky and freesat

Only have the one lead from dish so could i run both freesat and sky box if i just watch one box at a time.
Would this be ok

    Yes - it should work Ok provided you really do want to use only one box at a time. If you try to use two at the same time on a single LNB, it gets messy quite quickly...

    Multiple output LNBs aren't too costly these days if you want to do it properly, but more cabling to run.

    Just go for a quad LNB, because if you forget to switch one box off before you enable the other then you can kiss goodbye to the LNB you have and potentially the boxes as well.

    As far as that particular "splitter" that you linked to goes, it won't help you because only one of the outputs does the DC passthrough.
    Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.
