Netbook external CD drive
I'm on the brink of buying a netbook. I need to load MS office so I've got compatibility between home/work. As there is no built in CD drive I guess I'll need to buy an external drive. BUT, I'm thinking, can I connect my netbook to my desktop PC and use the CD drive off the desktop PC? If not, is the only way to load…

Panasonic TV - should I pay extra for 5 years cover from Ritcher sounds?
Hello all, I am about to buy this tv from Ritcher sounds. The same tv costs £1199 at John Lewis. The difference is, at JL you get 5 years warranty automatically. To get 5 years at Ritcher sounds would cost an extra £97.95 - so it is still cheaper than at JL by over £100. My question is - should I pay and get the extra…

Something to make labelling files easier
Call me lazy if you want, but sometimes if you have a rake of photos you've just uploaded rather than opening them all individually then 'save-as' it would be much easier if you could have something that would simply put "my wonderful holiday in Cornwall 1 .jpg", "my wonderful holiday in cornwall 2.jpg" and label them all…

New Printer?
I am looking for recommendations for a new printer, I currently use an Epson Stylus 660 and it has served me well for a good number of years but is now past its best. I liked it because it did all the tasks I needed, mostly b&w printed docs, the odd colour presentation and produced a good photo when required. It has always…
