I was in the middle of answering a post on another thread and our main desk pc switched off and i cant switch it on again. Have checked the leads are all plugged in and can see a light at the back where the internet cable goes in. Only the tower not working, router, printer and monitor seem fine. Any ideas please? TIA

    Remove side and look for piles of dust around heatsinks/cooling fans, reseat power cables. Could be power supply.

    Hi, after changing the fuse 3 times took your advice and cleaned out dust and fingers and everything crossed PC is still going. I cant thank you enough, when the PC is down its like having a limb cut off, how sad am I? But really thank you ever so much.:T:T
