Word Processor not working after updates?

I have got Windows Vista Home Premium, and I have just installed all my windows updates, and now I am no longer able to copy and paste anything into a word processor document.
I get the message:
" The information you copied exceeds the size limit for pasting into the word processor. Try reducing the size the size of your selection and ten copy and paste again."
Please could anyone shed some light on this?
