Error Loading OS

Motherboard is P5KPL-AM with Vista 64 installed.
I don't know why but I ran the Asus Update tool this morning and upgraded the bios to P5KPL-AM-ASUS-0511 and rebooted.
All I get is a message saying "Error loading OS"
I've tried using EZ Flash to change back but it won't let me as it says the file is older than the current bios, what can I do now ?

use the vista disk to repair the bootloader?0

Go into the bios and load the defaults, save and retry, and see if you can check/set the boot order.0

I have reset the bios defaults, set to boot from DVD and used the Vista disk to repair the bootloader, although it fixed one item it didn't help and I still get the error.0

All ok now, I was being an idiot, yes I'd changed the boot order back to boot from hardrive, just not the one with the operating system on it !0
