Cd-R or Cd-RW?
I want to be able to save some cash spreadsheets to disc and then add to the figures and make amendments as and when. I thought I needed to use a Cd-RW but someone in Currys said a Cd-R would do and someone in Mapplins said a Cd-RW. I tried using a Cd-R tonight but it keeps saying it is a read only file. So does this mean…

Where can I get a second hand laptop?
Hi all DD1 has got a laptop at the top of her Christmas list  . Epson R265 or R285 Printer?
Does anyone know the difference(s) between the R265 and R285 and which would you recommend? They are about the same price (RRP £69.95). Also, is it necessary to buy a USB cable for connecting to my PC? (I've seen on posts elsewhere saying that Epson don't include cables, which seems rather mean). Any help appreciated.

reduce size of Windows folder?
I was reading a newsletter this morning in which the editor had installed XP on a new Eee PC. It set me thinking ... I wonder how big the installation turns out to be. On this old desktop, the Windows (XP Pro SP2, full updates) folder has grown to about 4 GB, though I'm sure it could be thinned out a lot: Driver Cache…
