Having just spent the last few days chopping and changing webcams, I think I have now made my decision. I've transmitted / exchanged live pics via yahoo messenger to my son, BUT, he keeps losing his connection and cannot find a way to see if my microphone is working.
If you have a cam, would you consider a live link up just to see if mine is set up correctly and working. Ideally I'd like to do this soon as my daughter is coming home on leave on Thu, and hopes to be able to do a live link-up with the Falklands on Sun. Plus, she is going out there at Christmas an I need to be sure I can keep in touch.
Patience will be required as I am not too technically minded.
We could exchange details via PM.
