check out Adblock Plus if you use Firefox browser. Its a firefox add-on. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865 It prevents advert banners from opening. Especially good on the Times website where you get some adverts that fill the page if you inadvertently roll your cursor over them.
