Using Sky and a PVR
It seems that once someone cancels their sky subscription their sky+ box becomes as useful as just the ordinary sky box. Does anyone know whether I can buy a PVR from Maplin or somewhere and use that instead of a sky+ box? Will Sky+ work after I cancel Sky subscription
I'm thinking of taking out a new Sky+ subscription. I would cancel it after a year in most probability. Does anyone know if, when I cancel the subscription in a years time, the Sky+ will work in its full fuctionality?

A friend has asked me this question.When he loaded his operating system he asked entered a password to allow the boot up.He now wants to delete this so when he starts his computer it will boot up without the need of a password.How may he do this?

Connecting Sky box,VCR & DVD Recorder
I have a TV with AV1 & AV2 a Sky box with the usual two scarts a VCR with one scart and a DVD recorder with two scarts. How do I connect all three together so that Sky is on AV1 & the VCR & DVD are on AV2/

Need help to create a Boot CD
Hi, I need to create boot cd to use in my laptop which has no floppy drive. I need to be able to run the fdisk utility. Can anyone point me at an idiots guide to creating a boot cd with fdisk or possibly an iso image (or even better send me one?). Help greatly appreciated.:beer:

Just taken delivery of Dimension E520 which came with 19inch SE197P monitor. The settings are awful. Very blurry text and just out of focus and pixelated display.
