Would suggest you try to connect as follows:-

    SKY AV1 - TV AV1
    SKY AV2 - DVD AV1
VCR - DVD AV2 , or VCR - TV AV2 (for recording from analogue aerial & VHS playback)

    see http://www.radioandtelly.co.uk/connecthelp.php for further advice.

    Aerial connections:

Step 1. Connect main TV aerial into SKY set-top-box

Step 2. Connect an aerial lead from the SKY set-top-box to DVD/video recorder aerial in

Step 3. Connect an aerial lead from the DVD/video recorder aerial out, to the TV aerial socket

Note: If you want to feed RF to both VCR and DVD recorder you can take the RF2 out from the Sky box.
