Win98 firewall & anti virus - any good free ones?
On XP I use Zone Alarm & Avast AV, but a friend of mine has an older machine running Win98 and wants a similar level of protection for his machine (on a dial up connection). Do these packages run on Win98, and if not, is there something similar to both that can be downloaded from the web? bb

New computer but no MS Office Suite
Just got new package from Dell but just realised that it doesn't have MS Office Suite which I normally use, just has MS Works which I'm not very familiar with. I've looked on PC World's web and see that it's pretty expensive to buy MS Office Suite but wonder if anyone can direct me to anywhere I can buy cheaper. Thanks.

How do I remove a password request box on boot up?
When I boot up my PC a box comes up with this message: "Enter your network password for microsoft networking". How do I remove this so it does not appear every time I boot up, please? Can I tell if son is online?
I have three computers at home that all connect to the internet via a netgear wireless router. I am concerned that my stepson is quietly on the internet in his room when he is supposed to be in bed. Is there a way that I can see from the netgear page if his coputer is connected to the internet? :confused:

I need help burning a slideshow.
I've just edited a slideshow using Nero Vision Express 2 SE. Everything was working out ok until I came to burn it to disk. I thought I was burning to DVD disk, but it wont accept a DVD disk. Hi, I've attempted this before, with useless results. I want to record to video from digital (FreeView) TV, is this possible? The digital TV comes through the AV channel, so what do I need to record? Any thoughts? Cheers, Ian.

HELP! My Laptop Won't Connect to the Internet
I'm having real problems getting my laptop to connect to the internet. It did connect to the internet earlier, but now I keep getting an error message stating "The connection port is invalid or busy" with the code 24-02-05-055 and I can't connect at all now. I'm on AOL.
