I've just edited a slideshow using Nero Vision Express 2 SE.
Everything was working out ok until I came to burn it to disk. I thought I was burning to DVD disk, but it wont accept a DVD disk. I put a CD-RW disk in with a small file on it, nero asked if I wanted it erased. I clicked yes and it erased the file then burned the project to disk.
It wont play on the DVDplayer or the PS2 console
The title of the cd ends in .nvc . I started out selecting the SVCD option to create the slideshow.
Can anyone tell me what disk I need and why the cd-rw wont play ?

I am no expert but I think you have saved the Nero project file to the CD. Hence the.. '.nvc' and this wont be recognised by much else other than Nero.0

robowen,
As you get to the end of the wizard make sure you hit the 'next' or 'finish' button to the bottom right of the window.
Hiiting the Save button at the bottom in the middle only saves the project.
Your final cd should have the following extensions:
MPEG2 & SVCD0 -
If Nero works the same as other programes for slideshows, you may have to save your project first as a nero file and then use the file to create a disc in your chosen format.0
