Help with Delink router

I need help with my dLink router, I cannot remember my user name and password to enter the router.

Does anyone know how to telnet in through windows command prompt? or reset the user and password without resetting the whole router.

If I do this then I will have to call BB customer service and have passwor sent again

Any help greatly recieved

Did you change it from the default?

default ip is 192.168.1.1, this brings you to login page

If you ever ticked save password on another computer, then this might help..

If not, I think you are going to have to hit the reset button, and re-enter your config.

My DLink default is:
user: admin
password: admin

I seem to remember I couldn't change the userid. Just the password.

got it.

using my laptop at the time. found that the num lock key had been pressed and I was typing in numbers instead of letters
