When I boot up my PC a box comes up with this message: "Enter your network password for microsoft networking".
How do I remove this so it does not appear every time I boot up, please? I neither need or want it. Also it is a nuiscance as the PC will not continue to boot up until I have closed it (that is , the box)!
MANY THANKS FOR ALL YOUR REPLIES AND HELP.
REGARDS, LINDA

From Google:
"Open Network properties. Right under the list of protocols and installed components, you see a drop-down box... set it to read 'Windows login,' and you won't get that network login anymore."
The only other way to do it is with TweakUI, and it's 'Auto login.'0 -
MANY THANKS JOSHM.It is SO EASY when you know how!

I'm assuming that you have windows xp and only have 1 user set-up on the pc.
Go to control panel, user accounts, change the way users logon to the computer, tick the use welcome screen and untick fast user switching.
That should do the trick too.
As joshm said you can also use TweakUI (Free from microsoft, search their site)- = I also recognise the Robins and beep for them = -0
