Buying online?
I'm new here and I don't really know where to post this question. I'm below 18 and have the mymoney account from hsbc which means I have a debit card. But I was just wondering if I can buy online like in Amazon as they seem to have better deals than most of the deals I see in-store. Thanks in advanced :)

Stay in campus accommodation or move out?
This is sort of money saving and sort of not! Basically I started university in September, I'm 23 and I'm living in campus accommodation. Within the first week I was unsure about whether I'd made the right decision but I wanted to stick it out because a week isn't enough time to make a proper judgement and it was freshers…

Hi all, I am curious about this access to learning fund. I didn't even know it existed until I read about it on here today. I am a mature student in my first year. Foundation to BSC finance
The funding just changed for the transition from foundation to bsc degree. It was full time to full time, but now there is only the opportunity to go from full time to part time. That would mean no funding. Does anyone know if there is a way to circumvent this limitation? My plan is to do the foundation degree, go on to…

What's roughly the total amount I can put on loans?
Non-government-based, and at reasonable rates. Am I free to just open a few of the top student accounts and get an overdraft on all of them, or is there some kind of check in the application process to stop this? Do you think I can take some out on a 0% credit card and then just juggle it to another when the period is up…

shameful probable cut to access scheme to uni
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-11765120 increasing fees may be inevitable, but if the tories really believe in access for all, this would be protected. schemes like this will be even more important when fees go up. it would be tragic to return to a situation where access to uni is purely on financial terms.

Debt Collection Agency for Student Loan????
Not sure whether this is the right place to post this but I am completely baffled. I graduated in July 2008 and my student loan repayments have been automatically coming out of my salary every month since April 09. Anyway, today I have received a letter from a debt collection agency stating final demand for £2,000 owed to…

NATWEST - new rules on overdraft interest?
I hope someone will be able to help me.... I've just read on the Natwest website that their student account overdraft isn't always interest free, depending on how far into it you are. Have I read this wrong or am I actually paying interest on an overdraft that was sold to me as 0% interest? If I'm right about this is there…

My daughter is hoping to start college next year and we have been looking into travel costs to the college she thinks she would like to go to as it offers the best course for her.
