Money Info Help for PGCE

Hey All
I am starting to worry about costs wise/money wise of PGCE. I have applied for a PGCE and applied to Cambridge. Read there site it says £3000 and something course fees £2000 something for college fees then £9000 maintenance! I had a heart attack at the last figure.
Is that only for people in college accomadation? Panic panic!!! WHere do you find that sort of money from. Helpies
