Viewing new posts only in selected forums
This must be a very simple question and I'm almost embarrassed to have to ask! MSE has a lot of forums. Many of these do not interest me as they are not applicable to me. However, several forums are directly relevant and interest me greatly. I have subscribed to these forums and can see them listed under my subscriptions.…

Tapatalk access to MSE forum
All, With so much being done on smartphones now, why is it that MSE still cannot be accessed from the Tapatalk app (among others)? I would really like to be able to reply to my favourite or subscribed threads via an app than have to log in to the site eachand every time. Are there any plans to allow access to the forum via…

Why do Forums not appear on home page?
Obviously it's not a site we would visit regularly so I search MSE on google, head to the homepage then spend another five minutes trawling all over the site to find a link.

Quotes - How to multiples
I've seen some replies, whether rather than one quote followed by the answer, then there may be a quote from one post and reply, followed by a quote from another post and reply. Or, a partial quote and reply from one thread, followed by another section of the same post and reply, and again section and reply. Without…

New posts made "yesterday"
I just posted on one of the forums here and my post displayed as made yesterday. Some other posts are showing yesterday too even though they appeared today. Anyone else getting that? Might this just be that it's currently tomorrow (Tuesday 12.21am) in the UK and today (Monday 8.21 pm) where I'm posting from and…

browser choice
For some time I have been using the Opera Mini browser on an Android tablet while visiting this site. I was just involuntarily logged out, switched to the new forum format, and cannot log back in using that browser. So I'm posting this using a different one. I am sorry if this will sound stroppy, but I feel that adding…

I hope they made it ...
From the Today's Birthdays section : red257cat (82) From their user profile : Since they are not a prolific member of this site (never having posted and not logged on for 9 years), it seems unlikely that they will see a 'Happy Birthday' message from MSE users, but I hope they have made it to the 82 mark (at least).

Not been able to access the main site for weeks.
I've emailed, several times using the link provided in your 'you've been blocked' page, it tells me to check your FAQ page, but I'm blocked from that too. My emails have changed me from an address can not aiming this username, if you want to lol them up, I just want to know what I've done to get blocked, as I'm not aware…

credit checks by MSE?
I signed up with Noddle ti see how I stand (beg!) credit status wise, and see there was an 'admin search', last year? Any idea what that may be? Also, how do you get my address??

Another missing thread?
I started a thread yesterday about the new disabled persons minister, and it seemed to be going fine, now I log on and find it's disappeared? Anybody know any reason why?...there wasn't anything offensive on it that I could see.

Why Is This Board So Judgemental?
I read this post from Martin when I first posted, but other forums members do not appear to follow his guidance. Just a general question, why are members so judgemental? https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/365935 Can't people just offer advice as to benefit entitlement, and not jump on the bandwagon?

What's up with MSE?

QuickQuid Vs Resolver
Hello first time poster, and I thought I would start with a BIG THANK YOU Been emailing back and forth with QuickQuid regarding a mystery £140 payment on my account. I kept on stating the fact that they have never advised me of the payemt, therefore it is not within the OFT guidelines. QuickQuid in response refused to even…

Is the New Resolver Complaints Tool Really Worth Raving About?
Dear all forumites, Moneysavingexpert have recently featured the new complaining tool which makes it easier to complain to companies by going through the resolver.co.uk website. They even claim "Resolver makes complaining quick and simple". However after having made a complaint against Royal mail, and submitting it through…

MSE Basic mortgage calculator tool ???
I don't think that this MSE tool is working correctly. If I borrow £100,000 for 1 year at 3% interest pa your tool tells me that I must repay a total of £101,632. Surely I must repay a total of £103,000. Also if I borrow £100,000 for 20 years at 3% interest pa your tool tells me that I must repay a total of £133,085.…

Travel Credit Cards article
First of all why "credit" if "this step-by-step guide includes best buy credit, debit and prepaid cards"? Secondly, why Lloyds debit card is a "card from hell", but TSB one is "a bog standard overseas spending card"? I can't spot any difference.

How to view search results
I've come across something which seems to be pretty basic functionality which is missing. If I am logged out using the new default forum version or even if I am logged in with the new version, I am unable to click on a search result and be taken to that post. If however I log in and change to the "old version" of the forum…
