Is the New Resolver Complaints Tool Really Worth Raving About?

Dear all forumites,

Moneysavingexpert have recently featured the new complaining tool which makes it easier to complain to companies by going through the resolver.co.uk website. They even claim "Resolver makes complaining quick and simple".

However after having made a complaint against Royal mail, and submitting it through the resolver website, i got a response back from royal mail stating that i have to go directly through their [royal mail] website to make a complaint, and not through the resolver website.

so the whole complaining process is dragged out as it took royal mail a week to respond to me via the resolver website to say i need to do it all over again on their[royal mail] website.

This is the only complaint i have submitted through the resolver website, but imagine a lot of other companies will say the same thing.

Has anyone else got any feedback from the resolver website?
