Hotmail notification
I've found that on other forums that i use that are powered by vbulletin, when I get my email notification of a new mesasge via Hotmail, I get a summary of what the message is and who it is from & in what forum - when I get notification from MSE, it just tells me that I have a message in whatever forum and to click "here"…

The total number of posts, number of Thanks received and number of Thanked posts are all displayed beside every post. Can't get extra emoticons to load
