"Freebies Today" Calendar

Hi,

So here I am looking for something free/cheap to go to today, like a cinema screening or maybe a two-for-one on some event or such.

But the boards are full of discussion, which makes tracking down an event quite difficult.

Any chance of a calendar thing that members can post events on to so that us scroungers can see them at a glance without having to wade through 1000+ posts on a single thread to see if there are any spare cinema tickets for a particular day?

good idea but I don't think it should be presented to people on the plate otherwise it could encourage a leech culture where some people only look at the calendar and don't join in the discussions to help other moneysavers. If you look through the first three pages of the freebies board you'll see most of the current ones well that's what I do.
