Monthy Interest
I'm looking for a savings account which offers a good rate of interest, who pay interest monthly, offers a cash card and doesn't require a HUGH opening balance. I signed up with Tesco Instant Savings, but didn't read the small print and the interest they advertise is only on savings above £50,000. So 4.60% AER is my…

new SAGA Fixed Rate - monthly appears higher?
I'm wondering if there is a mistake on the SAGA fixed rate deals. The one year is offering an AER on 6.6% if you opt for annual interest but 6.8% if you take monthly. Two year deal is 6.55% and 6.75% respectively. Who would take the annual interest deal. Surely I must be reading this…

How hard is it to give someone £25,000
Following Martin's advice I chose A&L for a high interest savings account. Rang up. "I'd like to open a direct saver please" "You can't do that by phone - online or at a branch" "I already have a current account with you" "Sorry" Drove to nearest branch, parked, bought parking ticket, wasted an hour of my time. "I'd like…
